I'm new to this forum and website. I just wanted to introduce my self here and say hi to all. I'm a beginner at playing the guitar but I've been singing now for a couple of years. Mostly rock, alternative and some metal. I play an Ibanez Artcore electric and a Schecter Diamond series electric. I own 2 amps: Johnson 20 watt and a Behringer Combo LX-112 100 watt. I'm looking forward to learning some stuff both from the website and forum. Nice to meet you all!

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
