I don't understand your reference...Besides, all the greats, Aqualung, Locomotive breath, those involve powerchords and single note solos and riffs... I still don't understand...he wasn't a bar chord master or anything...that's pete townshend...

I heard a electric violin played in a band once. It sounded pretty cool. I also heard a couple of guitarists playing together one was playing an acoustic electric and the other was playing a Mandolin. Both sounded pretty cool as well.

we plugged in a friends electric Violin into a multi FX unit in. great fun, you haven't heard the Violin at it full potential unless you've heard it with a bit of fuzz and a lot of wah. :D that being said we did get some feedback the first couple of FX we used and not the good feedback either.
