I'm looking for a wwebsite where I can search to see which publishing company published this or that song.
Can anyone help?

Ehm, do you mean like a record company?
If so, try searching for the song on http://www.towerrecords.com
or some other major record site. I tried it and it worked pretty well.

I think he means publisher. Try the Harry Fox Agency to start. If they don't own it, the info you want will be listed in the album credits somewhere.

I think I don't know how to go about the harry fox agency.
Suppose I gave you the title of a song whoe publisher I want to know,say I will remember you by sarah mclachlan.I've tried searching for the artist,the song and the album,but there are no results.I'm I missing something.

Do what you'd do with anything on the internet.
Type "Harry Fox Agency" into Google...when you get there it tells you to use songfile.com to search for licensing info.
Type "I will remember you" into the search box and voila, BMI is the publisher.
