So I´m just into learning intervals, and wanted to ask if you have any tipps how I could find out more quickly what the interval is.

I´m learning them in real notes with this note train program and with a book I´ve bought, but when I look at the interval, I need just too long figure it out.

I mean the general notes (not tabs). That would also help alot for the chord inversions. But of course, also guitar.

General question: That book I bought is called "Die neue Harmonielehre", the one you recommended me.(I also bought "Die Rhythmiklehre", thanks for these 2 books, really great to work with them!)
Anyway, I finished the interval chapter and everything there is clear to me, also the next few pages I´m reading at the moment(triads). So but I´m still learning these intervals, because I feel that I should know them quite immediately after I look at them. Is this really necessary or is it enough when I have to think for them for 5-10 seconds.

routine - regelmässig noten lesen und danach spielen üben - damit du dich an das notenbild gewöhnst - mit der zeit wirst du das dan relativ problemlos bewerkstelligen. ein wunderheilmittel gibts da leider nicht ;)

Yeah, I actually didn´t really expect any other answer. Just thought I´d better ask before i put efforts in learning it that way.

Yeah, whatever he said

Try www.good-ear.com for intervals, your program is probably better, but that will do the job.... Then just remember that 4ths and 6ths feel as though they should go down to finish, 2 is dissonant, as is 7, and then remember 3 and 5 :)

Well.... that's what I did.

Then you get onto the harder task of chromatic intervals
