Sambob, I know the beginning doesn't serve much purpose and it's a bit sloppy...I might remove it or re-record it. Also, I'm aware the sweeps could be cleaned up. I'll work on that. Trust me, it's hard to constantly hit 'record', turn off the monitor, and get right into the groove. LOL. :rolleyes: Anyway...btw...I have no clue about recording whatsoever, which may explain a thing or two about my guitar's tinny tone. I usually don't record on that pick-up, because I prefer a warmer tone, but this time around I wanted a brighter tone...perhaps went a bit too bright. I'm not sure about compression, mixing, etc...my knowledge is very limited. What are you guys using to record? I'm using an old Cakewalk edition...can't afford anything else.
