Been a while since I've recorded anything. Well, yesterday, I quickly recorded some classical ideas I've been screwing around with. The result is 'Solstice Movement 1', my first attempt at some neoclassical stuff. Anyway, just wondering if you'd like to take a listen & offer some feedback. It's at 220bpm, and I had some problems with digital clipping in areas (the .wav if much better). Also, I might re-record the sweeping arps in the middle because they're a bit sloppy....I found it really hard to sweep at that speed (especially with added taps). All I used was my Fender Twin, my Strat, Boss D3, Crybaby, and Sure mic. I did the bass parts and programmed the drums with Leafdrums2.2. There's no compression whatsoever, which probably would have helped. :rolleyes:
