I use Ernie Balls too for electric, but for my acoustic I like the D'Adderio EXPs. They're around $12.00, but they last long. I played the set that came with the guitar for more than 6 months before they started to noticably lose their tone, and they aren't slick like the Elixers. I've also never had a problem with them unwinding.
