Im thinking about buying a 57 reissue tele
for $500. What do you guys think about them? I cant find any reviews.

The best Strat I've ever played was the MIJ '62 RI that I bought new in 1986. I know people who work in music stores who do everything they can to make sure that if someone comes in with a MIJ Fender to trade, that axe gets added to the inventory.

They're nice guitars, and you see a lot of pros playing them. I've only ever seen one new for over $1250 (so I don't have one), so I'd say that's a good deal. For that price just make sure nothing's wrong with it.
