i am learning beast of burden by the rolling stones and am stuck on the rythem fill for the fourth guitar. i need to tune my guitar to nashville tuning. in the book i bought it says to do this, i must tune my first to third strings up an octave each. can somebody please explain how to tune a string up an octave. if anybody can help me out i would appreciate it. you can reach me at plepore@arobas.net thanks.
U need to get a pack of 12-string strings. Then just put on the higher octave of the pairs (or either in the case of the duplicate strings). Its not a very good idea to just try and tune up regular strings an octave... They tend to complain a bit...
