There's a lot of info out there on Lenny. Randy Bachman from BTO is spearheading this big Lenny revival, releasing a ton of concert footage and unreleased studio stuff on his label.

I'm not positive how he does it ( I was never a big Lenny fan) but I would guess he did classical harmonics. The way to do this is to place your 1st finger of the right hand directly above the fret, an octave higher then the note being fingered by the left. Strike the string with your thumb and lift off the 1st finger to produce the harmonic, a lot easier said then done. There's also a way of doing it with barred chords by laying the 1st finger across the fret board sleightly angled so it catches most of the notes of the chords, strum up with your 3rd finger.

My guitar teacher said that very few people or none knew how Lenny Breau was able to produce harmonics from anywhere on the fretboard. Pretty freakin' cool!
If I leave here tomorrow,
Will you still remember me?
