OK Valve State is NOT a transistor amp, from the VS65R upwards they contain Hybrid Tube Transistor technology, I know I have owned TWO of them.

If you doubt me go to the Marshall website !

The 100 Watt VS100R and VS102R combos, plus the VS100RH amp head are the first amps ever in their price category to offer 3 footswitchable channels and anECC83 [12AX7] valve in the pre-amp. This ensures the fullest possible helping of classic Marshall valve tone on all 3 channels.

These amps will give you incredible flexibility with tones from crystal clean to classic crunch, from brown and bluesy to big and brutal with selections for the Clean channel, Overdrive 1 channel and Overdrive 2 channel all available at the press of a switch.

Second, thanks to dubuyu's dubious economic policies, the UK - US rate of exchange is about 2 dollars to the pound so you are looking at nearly 600 bucks !
