how to use trem/wammy/vibrato

hi, this is my first post n all that.
been playin les paul for over 2 rs now, recently gotta firebird with maestro vibrato unit. i understnad such thing make guitar go outta tune with too much hammerin and floyd roses r the answer for such problem
ANYWAY THE QUESTION...
Can sum1 please tell me how the hell ritchie blackmore managed to use his trem so heavily on a standard strat n stay in tune.

Some guitars, for example, various Fender Strats I've tried, stay in tune very well when using the whammy bar. I think it has something to do with the nut and how well it is made. Anywhoo, Ritchie probably stayed in tune when hammering on the whammy bar because he was in the studio at the time and was able do take as many takes on a whammy bar line as he wanted untill it was right. Either that or his guitar was a good one and stayed in tune better.
As for the answer being a floyed rose, that isn't necessarily true. Apart from being very high maintinence, you get what you pay for. Some floyed rose systems are cheaper and don't perform as well as others, they don't come back to float exactly where they did before, they make squeaky noises, etc.

Trems are hit and miss. Some guitars stay in tune and some go out right away. I've read alot of people say that the Floyd Rose go out of tune really fast, and others say it is God.

Get the guitar professionaly set-up by a really good tech.

I agree with everything in that post. I have a "Licensed" Floyd and everyone talks about how junky they are, but mine has been awesome. No problems, but, I've played many Fenders that go out of tune if you even think about using the whammy.
