I always thought a gothic version of 'Lovefools' by the Cardigans would be cool. Something harder and sung with a very creepy voice. Not like a Marilyn Manson cover though - have it done well.

I would also love to do a cover of The Cure's 'The Holy Hour'.

Lol and those drums are insane, I have to agree about you falling asleep on your keyboard about half way through.

Damn! I knew I should have got more than 2 hours sleep.

I've actually got really good replies about Be Faithful, but other than this one, it's only been up at metal forums so I guess it's just a preference of taste. They were actually interested in how I got Fruity Loops to sound like that but I seriously think that the double bass drum was over used.

This is some funny stuff on here man.

While I think about it.........a few years back I saw Live play at SUNY Cobleskill in NY....great freaking show....Live ruled. The funny part was the opening act....Jimmy's Chicken Shack. They kind of sound like The Offspring, just not as good...not that they are any good themselves, but you get the idea. What's funny is that they did Nine Inch Nail covers, which made me almost poop my undies. Just imagine The Offspring trying to sing "Head Like a Hole" and "Reptile" and you get the gist. It was great. AHHH....memories.

You guys really wanna know a cover that just shouldn't have been covered by the artist doing the cover (what a mouthful)....

Drum roll please....

Lisa Loeb doing Ozzy's "Goodbye to Romance" with Dweezil Zappa on guitar...
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

a friend of mine is in a skunk band (ska+punk) and they did covers of twist and shout by the beatles, and also that song that goes "you make me want to shout!" thats in national lampoon. Both of them were great for dancing too.

I don't think there's any classic tune that hasn't been covered by a punk band. nofx and such. At least they learn basic song structure by [covering] decent tunes.

Am i the only one who thinks HIM's cover of Wicked Game is kinda strange? One of the few covers that sound better than the original i reckon...
