I've done a berzerker style cover of Seven Nation Army for sh*t and giggles but failed. Parts sound too much like the original and other parts the drums take over the song, going at 428bpm but I only spent 10-15 minutes on it.

I've also made a song that was intended to be a cover of Fatman Scoop - Be Faithful but isn't recognisable to the original. I've only got good comments about it though (apart from people wondering why I called it a cover), so I'd say it's a good metal song.
