Yeah thats right. If you lower an imperfect interval you get a minor interval. Also if you lower an imperfect interval by a tone then you get dimished.If you raise it a semitone then you get an augmented interval.
If you lower a perfect interval you get diminished, if you raise it you get augmented again.
