hahaha. my name is Jim, I live in cleveland ohio, i like classic rock, alternative, blues, a little bit of everything. my top 3 bands are cake, soundgarden, zztop. right now in my cd player is smashing pumpkins-melancholy and the infinite sadness and jimi hendrix-voodoo child. I've been playing a little more than a year, i've got an Ibanez gax-70, and a crate glx 2x12. right now saving up for a new guitar, haven't decided what.

btw, is it possible to rate submitted licks or whatever on the main page? if so, how do i see the ratings on my submissions?

blah.... we tried the ratings system and it blew big time.
Everybody was rating their own tricks and giving themselves '10'.
Either that or you'd spend 3 days making up an awesome trick of your own only to have some dickbrain give you a '1' out of spite. It was like having a sadistic teacher grading your paper every day.

As far as signatures are concerned, the less graphics the better. I'm on broadband now but it wasn't too long ago that I was using a 14.4 modem. Back then, just one graphic would slow the page loading time so much that I'd just give up. If you got 2 or 3 guys adding graphics, forget it.
I don't mind small graphic pics.... but in the long run, they're kinda a pain in the arse. All it means is you have to scroll more and keep looking at the same picture from the same guy every day.
Personally I prefer sigs with a simple link at the bottom like mine. Plain and simple and with a very easy to understand message.

Hey man, what's happening. I don't mind the sig... i mean pictures can be great it looks cool enough.... but for the sake of others i might lose it (remember that guy that had the big wisdom picture?). Hope you learn some stuff. Peace out.
