nice (acoustic) songs
Does anybody know some good (acoustic) songs to play, something like stairway or hotel california or nothing else matters, not too hard and not too easy?

Man, everybody loves beatles tunes and they're mostly the basic chords. Classics like brown eyed girl, couple accoustic clapton tunes like when you're down and out (originally by somebody associated with hendrix i believe). i knew a guy who picked up every time he played tears in heaven while camping. that may take a bit more of the practice.

Jack Johnson is always fun to learn...
Jewel has very simple stuff, especiall off of her first cd. Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young... Sublime... Nirvana... wow I can't think right now. But those band have some pretty easy tunes.

Simple yes,but very nice.
I know the chords for down so long, for instance, but I can't quite get to strum and sound like on the song.
It's not amusing.

No one asked for amusic they asked for nice. Nice is most of the time... not amusing. Unless it ska... or maybe you might like nice music. Imagine that.

You got it bad.
It's the not being able to sound like the record that doesn't amuse me.

I like Michael Hedges' stuff. A lot of it is pretty complicated, but he has some easier songs that sound nice too, such as Chava's Song, The Naked Stalk, his cover of All Along The Watchtower...
"You must stab him in the heart with the Bone Saber of Zumacalis... well, you could stab him in the head or the lungs, too... and the saber, it probably doesn't have to be bone, just anything sharp lying around the house... you could poke him with a pillow and kill him."

Air by jason becker. Its not easy though :(
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

All John Mayer Songs. All Dave Matthews songs. There, easy, nice, and easy once again.
