rockhouse, metal method?

I was wondering if anyone had any experiences using either the 'metal method' or 'rockhouse method' series.

I was planning on getting one of them so any comments plz...

I have Metal Method in the style of Metallica and Pantera. They're ok..they don't teach you anything online tabs can't. They don't even give you the whole song...just a few riffs. And not much lead at all.

I read alot of good testimonials for the basic guitar course though.

Metal Method, as in the one by Doug Marks? That one is great (the whole six video course). It really teaches you a lot of stuff, and in a way that you don't have to like speak another language to do it (as in be really experienced with this stuff). By the end of it, your learning this really cool solo. At first I was skeptical with it (when I started it a year or two ago), but it is really good. I got my moneys worth. It also taught me basic modal theory, in an easy way.

Great! Then ill certainly get the 6 DVD course soon.
