anyone have any experiences with this amp?

I am think of purchasing one, just trying to get some second opinions

I loved the clean tone, wasn't too impressed with the lead channel, but I have my own effects already so it wont be a problem

I've never really been impressed with the Peavey Guitar Amps in general. Kinda dull sounding to me.

Check out some other models first.

If your looking for a combo, check out the Hot Rod Fender Amps. They make a 2X12 model. All tube. around $1000canadian.

see I played a hot rod deville a few weeks ago and I didn't like it at all, it sounded really really thin

I play a tele so I already have more than enough treble comming out of my guitar so I like the more bassy sound to balance that out

I had a Peavey classic for a while. I liked it a lot

I don't really know what to say about it, I didn't really have any complaints.. its just that it wasn't really big enough for what I needed at the time. It does really compliment the sound of a strat or a tele.
