By practising slow and speeding up over time(also by using a metronome). Also by palm muting with your picking hand to stop the wrong strings from sounding. You can also mute the strings with your left hand as well. Main thing is to keep playing them slow and dont play the arpegios faster than you can handle them !
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Yeah,I had a little trouble on the intro sweeps to 'Everytime I Die'.Its strange I have more problems with three string sweeps than I do with 5 or 6 string sweeps.

Just start of slow and change your screen name...

Well thats what commercial music is about isnt it?
Its all about the money not the talent(even though some people think it does involve talent). Slipknot didnt really used to be commercial though and didnt really change when they became commercial though. I think the fact that so many people hate them is because they have become commercial and there are too many little 8 year old kids walking round with slipknot hoodys on !

Lockyourself in a log cabin in Finland and practice playing for ten years. Does anyone know what type of phaser/harmonizer pedal alexi uses for his trademark "solo" sound that too many people think are keyboards?

Alexi is pretty ****in' amazing. Work on his sweeps slow of couse and work your way up. Do them at a speed where you can keep a consistant beat and play it 100 times at that speed. Then push yourself to go a bit faster...again 100 times through. Then repeat even faster. Sweep arppegios require a lot of time and commitment but they're fun once you know em like the back of your hand.

haha, i guess thats why i'm so good at them. Sweep arpegios have to be my most used technique.

What do you mean? Bodom is known for their keyboard/guitar duels. Its Jens Warmen on keyboards and he is daaamn good. He's got is own side project now.

First of all, they are NOT KEYBOARDS. If you have seen them play live, which i have many times, you would have SEEN that all the "phaser" sounding solo's are Alexi. The side project is called WARMEN. On the track "The Evil That Warmen Do" on the cd UNKNOWN SOLDIER you can clearly hear that Sami Virtanen uses the same effects on the guitars that alexi uses. By the way, that cd sounds more like the COB Hate Crew messed around on Bodom's equipment between recording sessions.
Im just trying to figure out what type of pedal's he uses! If you don't know then don't bother replying!

Yngwie fans are weird...

I've seen Bodom once at Wacken Open Air and and once here in Florida and saw with my 2 little eyes Jens soloing on his keyboard. I know enough that the left hand plays chords and the right plays leads. And his right hand was goin' crazy while Alex was plain' rhythm and Alexi was throwin his hand in the air. Maybe in the studio Alexi plays with the effects but when they play live Jens definatly does solos. Hatebreeder was insane.

I thought the Keyboardist's name was Janne? I don't know what that one dude was talking about with Alexi doing the leads that sound like a keyboard. If you give us an example from one of COB"s songs that would help. But Alexi does solos alone, and also plays lead along with the keyboard.
