Electric Guitars are the inspiration for cries of "Turn that damn thing down"-Gibson website
As some of us get older..
Well, I noticed that most of us are around a few hundred posts each, with a few newbs. Do you guys, who have stayed here this long, plan to keep coming here?? How long? Many of you are in college or university, will the after school life change when your schedule for coming?

I've been here since like sophmore year high school, only I had a different username then. I'm a freshman in college now, and I'll probably stick around here until this site either closes down or the internet becomes obsolete.

Well, I first found this site after I finished high school back in 98. Now, I'm through with school, and have a great job, and under a new user name(old one was edgranholm). I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, so I guess you all will have to put up with me some more. I know my post # isn't that high for as long as I've been around, and that's because I usually don't post unless I have something important or usefull to say(unlike alot of people I see). None-of-the-less, I hope this site is around for a long time, because I enjoy talking to everyone here and learning all I can about anything to do with the guitar!

I plan on staying as long as I play the guitar.
So, basically, forever.
Tele_Master: I saw your pic a while back but my post got lost in that forum, I wanted to ask you if anyone ever said you look lik Wes Borland?
I think you do.

Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

I suppose there will come a time when I'll get tired of being asked the same questions too often, but that hasn't happened yet.
For most of this summer I'll be on the road with my newly-rebuilt 1986 FJ1200 sport/touring bike :D so I'll be getting a break from playing (and writing about playing).
After that, I should be good for a few thousand more posts before I go completely loony.

I plan on staying around until I surpass SRV or Steve Vai which ever comes first. Soooooo, plan on seeing me for a long while. I may drop out for a while but right now my job allows me to stop by here alot while at work. That really helps out so I dont loose practice time at home or time with my girl either.
You are only coming through in waves, your lips move but I cant hear what you're saying.

I will probably keep coming back to this site until the human population is wiped out.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Well i don't even remember joining this site; it was a time when dinosaurs still roamed the earth... But i think my time is coming to an end. In september I'm off to uni and i don't reckon I'll be on much after that, if at all....
Its a sad time...

I originally signed up just to be able to hear audio samples in the lessons. I usually don't deal with forums, but something made an exception about this one. People are nice and helpful. I've got intentions on sticking around.

I have no life, no band, and I hate almost everybody in person. This board makes it easier to get along with folks for me because if I wanna ignore you, I can and you wouldn't even know I was ignoring you... there see? I just ignored you and you wasn't any the wiser about it... OH there I go again...
Anyways to answer the question I guess if I have invested this much time into it, I guess I can't quit now...

So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

I joined for some odd reason, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Unless my computer breaks, again.

I've been coming to the site since 2001. I graduate in College in June, but I'll definately still be coming around.
