Hi,i'm new here.My name is John.I've been playing guitar for about 25 years now.My band plays Southern rock and country or blues.Whatever the crowd wants.I'm Showman cause my amp is a Fender Dual Showman.I'm a Fender fanatic.I own a Tele and a Strat.

I aint the biggest fan of fenders.... but to each his own.
You'll find a lot here, so just look around.

this is probably the best site around. You will find lots to learn here and any questions you have dont be scared to ask them ;)
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
