Just learned about this forum today. Any "gearpage" guys hear? I feel I'm walking into a party and don't know anyone. BTW is there Classified or Emporium section?

Howdy dude. Lot's of gear guys here who luv to talk equipment. For classifieds, just use the 'Gear' forum.
Check out the main part of the site, especially the host section if you want tons of free lessons.
And basically boot around sniffin into corners cause you never know what you'll find :D

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
