When I was a kid I used to love G.I. Joe, the transformers, Flinstones, and the most addictive Roadrunner show. I always wanted the coyote to catch that little f**ker. The fact that he never did and then the bird would stick out his tongue would just make me want to jump into the cartoon and catch him myself. Man the warner bros cartoons were great, Taz, Sam, daffy, sylvester. Those just bring back some good childhood memories. I think it would be cool to hear what cartoons you guys/gals watched as a kid.

Im 23 now, and I still watch them when I can.

thunder cats .... dont you mean thunder birds ?
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

I think one of my favorite cartoons still are the early Tom & Jerry episodes. Remember the one when Jerry's Uncle who plays the Guitar comes over to visit. He's always pulling one of Tom's whiskers to use as a guitar string. Ta! ha! ha!

Was "Calvin and Hobbs" on TV? That'd be great!

I used to watch "Mighty Mouse", "Huckleberry Hound", "Quick-Draw McGraw", "Yogi Bear", "Bugs Bunny", "The Roadrunner", "Heckle & Jeckle", "Rocky & Bullwinkle", "Boris Baddenov & Natasha", "Dudley Doright of the Mounted", "Scooby Doo", "The Jetsons", "The Flintstones", and "The Beatles".

No, I took a liberty!

Bill Watterson is very protective of the rights to C&H in order to stop its rampant commercialization, which would cater only to the lowest common denominator so devaluing it as an art form.

Or so he says !

This is why you don't see any Calvin And Hobbs merchandise !

That's strange... I've seen plenty of Calvin & Hobbes t-shirts and bumper stickers... maybe they're unlicenced, though.

For me:

Transformers!!! More than meets the eye!!
ThunderCats
GI Joe
Jem
Teddy Ruxpin - although I was too young to understand what the heck was going on...
... and that's all I have to say about that.

I've never heard of Calvin and Hobbes. Tom and Jerry was cool, I got the first episode of that show when Tom first meet Jerry on VHS. I've only seen it played once in my whole life, but that was probably my favorite episode. I like how they brought back old 60's cartoons like Spaceghost, and made adult versions of them. Macho man was spaceghost's dad. That episode was great.

When I was little I loved to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Danger Mouse, Roger Ramjet (I never had any idea what the hell the robots were doing and why they were so scary, kind of like the Darliks in Dr Who), Looney Tunes, The Simpsons and one about a vampire duck, I forget the title.

My favourites now are The Simpsons, South Park and Space Ghost: Coast To Coast. When I first saw Space Ghost C2C, I had no idea what was going on, there Zorak dressed as Batmantis and Space Ghost saying to Adam West that he had a Batmantis and Adam West replying he had Robin, that was repeated several times then there was an awkward silence.
