My useless piece of gear would have to be my wireless system, it's a cheapo so I never use it. It's been sitting in it's case for about 4-5 years now.

I love my capo and I play alittle metal. Probably the only person that does that, but I like using different open chords in trasher metal licks beside E or lower. Capo the first fret and jam around in Bb minor (really strange key).
