Good stuff ,Matt. "Woman in red" is really great. And "peeking", really nice detail. How long have you been drawing?

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

You just gotta love an instrument that is just that... an instrument. No knobs to screw with, no switches to flip. Just plug in and ROCK. I was so impressed with it, that I am going to try and base a guitar on it. I have always been a fan of single humbucker, one knob cockrock machines, so I am going to build one minus the knob... If I am worried about noise when not playing...well that will be what the expression pedal on the digitech will be for... :)
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

I'm a wildlife fanatic, particularly interested in birds. I find evolutionary biology fascinating and love finding how different animals and plants are adapted to their environments. I love cycling. I enjoy reading a mixture of fiction and popular science.
I also aim to become a mnemonist and be able to remember long sequences of numbers just so I can write that down in my CV and appear to be far cleverer than I actually am. There is a method you see. If you're interested then go to the following link and download some brilliant free software: http://got2know.net/2Know/index.html this link also explains herigone's mmemonic system which is the basis of the software system but which can be used independently of any software.
I also aim to learn the Trachtenberg system of basic mathematics because it's reputedly possible for total morons to use it to accomplish scary fast arithmetic. This would also look good on my CV.
I can write with two hands simultaneously but find it very difficult. I was surprised to find that slowdriver does the same! Apparently Leonardo Da Vinci used to do it also. It's mentally rather tiring.
I also enjoy writing and, even just the process of typing because I'm so good at it!
If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?

hmm, that Trachtenberg system sounds interesting. I may have to find out about that.

I enjoy cooking(mostly on a grill), designing things, drawing, learning how to play the piano again, playing pool, riding 4-wheelers(ATV's), hunting, fishing, I would love to get into woodworking, collecting knives, hmm... I guess that's all I can think of right now.

I too enjoy drawing, I’m not that great at it but I enjoy it all the same. I mostly work with some websites, model aircraft, and PS2.

I got my 1986 Yamaha FJ1200 sport bike rebuilt, and I've saved up a bunch of vacation time, so this summer I'm going to be very hard to locate! :D

I like poking around in the guts of my Ampeg amps, but since I don't have any work space at home, everything is tucked into various corners of the lab I help run. And I don't really want to be there on my own time, so I don't get much done.

besides guitar? is there anything else? =)

let's see... I'm with the playstation, xbox thing but don't have the time I used to for it... my mountain bike, couldn't live without that... I like to workout, usually at the gym by 5am each day - except when nursing hangovers..

just bought a house so I'm becoming a do it yourself'er.
and pretty much everything else that comes my way...

And with the link that sambob put up I guess we could call it spendin time with sambob? =)

nope - no crack addicts here but I do have stretches where I'll play until my fingers just won't move anymore.
