By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. I had 6363 posts before I stopped posting there, I registered in August last year. I guess it's because there are so many interesting threads, and just as many cool forumites.
But my number of posts is actually higher than the average, since I'm surrounded by computers in school and where I work.

Or it's called people that reply to every post, with nothing informative to offer.
I read this forum daily, but don't reply that often (hence the low number of posts) unless I have something valuable to add to the thread.
