i just joined the forum.
i've played guitar for 2 years and am into shred, classical, and oriental/indian music. i put a video lesson up already in the techniques forum about finger rolling/sweeping, etc. if anyone wants to check it out.

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
Wow cool! I've always wanted to learn that type of stuff. I love messing around with that sound, but I've never really learnt it. Any chance of putting some of that stuff on the site?
