arp patterns?

ok I am assuming that there are arpeggio patterns that are moveable up and down the neck right? LIke one for minor, major, monor 6 etc....
where is a place online that I can learn these patterns?

not online that I know of ('cept this site of course).... but if your willing to shell out $25 for metal method volume 5-6 it gives you some really good sweep patterns.... along with some scales and example solos.....

To make 4-string sweeps you can think of them as pieces of a bigger 5/6-strings sweeps ... Usualy they're less used than the others.
