I just got a new les paul, and I was wondering how you actually oil the fretboard, and how often to do it. Thanks.

Just like normal lemon oil? any particular brand? And how do you apply it to the board?

look at your guitar sometime and ull know when u need to oil it a bit not too much u dont want too much residue and stuff.

use a clean cloth that wont leave those dust particles, all over ur fret board i use a pillow case...

what's the best way to clean all the buildup/dirt/dead skin off the fretboard before you condition it?

I don't think there's a way other than the good ole piece of cloth "deluxe" method. ;)
