Another pickup question

I'm full of these, aren't I. Good thing there are so many experienced people here. :)

How do you all think an Air Norton(neck) would work with an X2N(bridge)? The guitar they would be going in is mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. I don't know how much the x2n's higher output than the norton is going to effect things, advice on that would be great. The guitar has volume knobs for both pickups, does that help things?

If you take another look at JSV's post on one of your earlier questions, it seems the X2N will work with most humbuckers.

I was just wondering if it would be overpowering becuase the a.n. has so much lower output.
