Ok, I'm thinking about buying an amp, around 30-40 W, for home usage. I've tried a Marshall VS amp (30 or 40W) but when I checked fender's catalog I found the champion 30. I'm playing country, on a tele, so I need that bright, twangy sound. Which one of the amps is the best one? The clean channel sound is the most important to me

Do you prefer tube or solid-state amps?

Well, solid-state or tube doesn't really matter. All I need is good sound to a good price. The champ 30 is solid-state, isn't it? But like fender says, they work on making solid-state sound good instead of making some sort of just fairly good hybrid amps or "wannabe-tube amps". But is the champ 30 as good as fender says or is the Marshall with preamp tube better?

For country, go with the Fender. I'd like to make a different recommendation though. You can buy a silverface Fender Champ amp from the 70's for about $100. They sound amazing and are all tube, but small. Much better than the newer solid state Fender stuff.
