Ive heard it sounds killer and is an improvment over the first spiders.Never played one myself.
Ive kinda jumped off the line6 wagon and am looking at marshalls(JCM800,DSL100,TSL100 e.c.t.).

The price seems right.I'd safley say its one of the best solid state amps in the price range.Of course I'm speaking from a wide perspective. Some guitarists wont stand next to anything that dosn't have tubes, but if you like it then give it a shot... just give a kick down a flight of stairs and return it if you think it sucks.

Ive always contemplated my ultimate setup and came to the conclusion that all I want is a great clean and distorted sound out of an amp(and some reverb). No 'super gear' or anything in between.. mabey a little chorus, but thats it.
It seems marshalls get great tone right out of the box rather than having to throw effects and an eq in front of it to get a good sound.

My friend has a mesa triple rec and has a load of stuff before it to get the sound he wants.
Ive always procrastinated over price, but after I get a new guitar, its marshall city... no more screwing around!!!
