Yeah i have one. They have some good effects. They are basically like a zoom pedal but smaller and hand held. Only problem is that its awkward to change effects when playing. A good thing is once you are used to it , it is easy to use and change effects.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

yep - just got this thing for Christmas and I LOVE it. It's the ultimate practice tool....
easy to use and great for anyone who wants to practice without wakin up the neighbors... Good effects selection, the amp models are very cool too. For the price, it's more than worth it. If you're looking, go to your local music store and play around with it, see if you like what it does... the others that I wanted to look into were the POD XT and there is a new PX4 - R that does recording.
good luck!
