anyone like this bands guitarist??? i just heard one of there songs and their guitarist seems like he has quite alot talent

Alex Skolnick is one helluva guitarist. The New Order is a great album.

'Practice what you preach' has a rippin solo.'The ballad' is pretty sweet too.In my opinion,there a bit of a metallica killer.

Since the late eighties, these thrash metal giants have been at the top of my respect list. I found out about them by accident because they opened for a band (whose name escapes me) that I went to see in about '88. After Alex Skolnick had a very impressive guitar solo (I remember standing there in pure amazement), I began to pay attention to these lads from the Bay area.

The Gathering is one of my all time favorite albums and I anxiously await their next release. (any word,anybody?)

If you like Testament, I recommend The Crown's latest release "Possessed 13". It's a thrash/death metal lovers dream.

Actually Alex is a Jazz guitarist now... he just went on tour or is going on tour with marty freidman and someone else. I forgot his name.

Watch out g3 cuz he is one great guitar player. These three guitar players marty alex... and ?, will do pretty good for them selves.
