Ok I recently purchased the Boss ME-50 and im pretty new to guitar pedals but whenever i turn it on and try to tune with the pedal or do anything i can't bc the number "6" blinks in the display. Right when it turns on it starts blinking off and on and i dont know if thats how its supposed to be or not but its really anoying when im trying to tune or go through stuff with it and all i get is a blinking 6.

Wow, lots of helpful advice here...

Have you tried calling or e-mailing Boss? Sounds like you might have a unique problem here.

Why not also try going back to the store that you got it from and letting them know it doesn't work? Usually this will result in your getting a brand new one! :)
... and that's all I have to say about that.

You know what I just thought is that it could mean that your batteries are dead? Sorry, just a shot in the dark...

i got an ME 50

1. turn it on
2. Hit the 2nd and 3rd pedal at once - this gets you in the predefined banks
3. hit the first two pedals at once - now tune
4. when you are done hit the first two pedals again.
