TC G-Major..Anyone used one??

As related to my other thread, I came to think of getting a G-Major. My Carvin's high lead channel is kind of $hi+ty
so I wondered if you can "fix" it by using this processor.
So basicly what I'm asking is that can I make the amp's
own drive sound different. There's enough gain but it
doesn't sound very good at home volumes and it isn't tight
enough.
