I agree with iiholly on the pick moster theory. I once actually found one of the pick monsters hidding places for picks. I found a few deep inside our old recliner while attempting to fix something inside it. I haven't been able to find anymore since though, and seem to loose picks more frequently now. I guess I made the pick monster mad.

i pick up dog **** in the yard and have found some of my picks in there, never use those ones though
