At midnight on Monday night walking home from a friends house I was attacked by a mystery man I have never seen before. Lucky I didnt recieve much injury. A deep cut to my elbow and extremely sore fingers in which I couldnt move any of my fingers. I got off very light under the circumstances. But the fact my fingers arent in very good use I havent been able to play the guitar for some 4 days now. Something like this really makes you appreciate the things you take for granted. ie. picking up my Les Paul and hammering out some loud rawk music.
I'm thinking of takin out finger insurance!!!! LOL

SOunds strange to me. I will try and hunt that evil guy down at kill him, hahahahaha.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Well man, rest up and I'm sure you'll be back to it again shortly. Speedy recovery.

Unlucky man, sucks when that happens. I live in an average town in the scotland and every week something like that happens to people i no. Its kinda worrying to think it, but in all honesty, the streets of scotland aint safe no more!
Man it sucks how as you grow up you see all the violence around you :(

That rat-bastard is probably the kind of guy that gets found lying in a puddle of his own blood after the rest of the cons leave the exercise yard. Forget him.

You will need to rehab your hand. Get some professional medical guidance on this, preferably from a sports medical clinic. People who know how to get athletes up-and-running after an injury will know what you need to do to get your mobility and dexterity back.

Best of luck!

LOL at The Wizard.
Thanx for all your guys responses. You'll be glad to hear after watching the new Zakk Wylde dvd. I decided to have a go at playing for the 1st time in 5 days....
And everything went great. My fingers seemed to be as strong as ever and it was a great session.

Thanx again guys.

I broke my right hand twice within a year so I wasn't able to play for a long time. And when I was finally able to play again, I basically had to train my right hand all over again. You defanately find a greater appreciation for the things you take for granted when you're left without them. especially the use of a hand being a guitarist. Now I'm left with 2 screws in my right hand behind my ring finger knuckle. 90% of the time it's like nothing ever happened, but when it does start to bother me it's a horrible feeling not being able to play my guitar.

How'd you break your hand twice? Are the screws permanent?
