neo means new..so i can assume that neo classical means new classical.. so i listen to a couple of "neo classical" and almost all it is some guy shredding up and down scales over and over on an electric guitar..maybe throw in a diminished arpeggio or two or an whooping A minor arp..who in the right mind gave this title (neo-classical) to someone who plays real fast scales and arps over some cheesy piano chord progression?!?!
most people who claim to play "neo-classical" music have put classical music to a shame
its rare that i ever find someone playing music that actually sounds like classical music on a electric guitar with catchy melody lines that bach would use or anything like that..maybe i havent look hard enough
what in the hell happened??
