My Brit friend, just introduced me to this band. I listened to the album "Moseley Sholes" and was amazed. Great music and lyrics. Anyone else listen to them?

I'm British and cannot stand the whole "indie" thing ie. Oasis, The Verve, Cast.
Just doesnt appeal to me whatsoever.

Yea so far as guitar Im into Aerosmith, Guns n Roses n stuff like that, but to chill out I often listen to a lot of "indie"! Oasis n the verve to name a couple have some really good happy tunes, it makes a refreshing change!

In the UK OCS are only just marginally less of a joke than Phil Collins. That whole Britpop scene is now well dead and buried...hallelujah.. and hopefully we'll never hear from the missing links that are the Gallaghers esp after their last album quickly found its way into the bargain bins. That they and all the other Britpop bands failed to crack the US is a reflection of the good taste of the general American public.

What is OCS?
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Since when does how music sounds have to do with it being produced by an independent, or am I missing want "Indy" is supposed to be in this case. I think Ocean Color Scene are a great band, and that the whole scene that they've come from is good.
