I've got a Zoom 707 n I very rarely use it. The clean settings on it really suck, the amp on its own is far better, you cant bypass it, some of the effects are cool to fiddle with but not to do any serious playing on. The only time I use it is to use the wah pedal and that isnt good at all. The distortion settings on it are too noisy or not distorted enough and the reverb is very false sounding. Oh the Van Halen settin is great for feedback.
IMO. Your better off gettin a boss. Metal Zone was mentioned, I use that all the time. The sound is great but not so good for recording. The sustain from it is slight lackin too unless you wack it up full. I need a reverb pedal.
