I used to have a Crate amp and hated it. I don't have a whole lot of experience with the higher end Crate's, but the lower end stink. I had to replace the input 2 times, then it still wouldn't work, so I sold it and got a real amp!

Dude I might get a Voodoo or GlX if I was to get a Crate, but that wouldn't happen, you might want to sell and get something better before it messes up, lol. cause my friend has a crate and it's messed up twice in less than a year, he had to replace it ocne, and I've just heard to much scarry stuff about crate..

I think i saw that crate 120w crate amp in my local guitar shop a few days ago. Not to sure what there like. I did hear this guy using one at this guitar show though and it sounded pretty good, but then i guess it was one of the crate amps u could get :)
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

I would rather play through my soundcard on my computer than play a Crate amp... Oh wait... I already do that... nevermind.... :)

Ebay that thing, unless you plan on never letting it leave the bedroom...
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?
