I love to watch these on tv! I think that all of my favourite artists have done it. Who is your favourite band to play the unplugged gig?
If I leave here tomorrow,
Will you still remember me?

Nirvana and Alice in Chains all the way

Alice in Chain's unplugged episode made me an even bigger fan of theirs. Before seeing this one, I had no idea of how much Jerry's voice plays a part in AIC's music. I thought it was all Layne.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

I agree, Alice in Chains was the best session but Pearl Jam and Clapton are pretty close.

Clapton's unplugged was amazing

Stevie Ray Vaughan was awesome. I loved his acoustic "pride and joy" on the 12 string.

Didn't he die before MTV started doing the whole unplugged thing?

You're not missing much. Aside from this series, and perhaps a few others, MTV is just your typical "let's-get-13-year-olds-to-buy-this" corporate american crap station.

I'm from the North too but I had one of those monthly satelite trials to see if I liked the channels.
