Nashville style?

Hey ive been getting into country style guitar playing recently, and i was just wondering, what is the difference between nashville country style and normal country style?

There is no "nashville style" of country music. the "nashville style" is about a chart form they use traditionally by studio musicians which is nuthin more than the roman numeral form of charting. so instead of looking at a chart and seeing G min 7 (in the Key of Emajor for example) it would be written as "iii-7"

There's the Nashville method of tuning, which involves replacing the three low freq strings with thinner strings that are one octave higher than the originals. I think you also need to open tune. If I remember correctly, "Wild Horses" by Rolling Stones uses a guitar in Nashville tuning.
