hey i have a question..will putting masking tape on a classical guitar fretboard mess it up or anything??...im doing this because i dotn have frets markers i guess (the little circle things) and im tryin to put them on there or use them to put scales on them to make it easier for me to memorize

I'd vote no, it won't mess it up. Put the tape on the side of the fretboard - the side pointing up and that you can see when you have the guitar in your lap. That way it'll make it easier for you and won't fall off. But even if you do end up putting it directly on the fretboard, it shouldn't damage anything.. it'll affect the sound more than anything else.
