Bah... I dunno what it is, maybe I just get a feeling of being cool from underground artists, but the mainstream guys just don't do it for me anymore. Heck, I'm not too far underground, but you know. Doyle Bramhall II, Derek Trucks, Joe Bonamassa, and a recent favorite Josh Smith who plays for Xotic effects and is a professional sideman. Music is soooooooo opinionated, I don't see why people even bother with topics such as this........although who knows, in the stone age when this thread was started, The typical SRV Hendrix debates might have been all the rage. :cool:
