Hendrix is my favorite, because he started it all. There was no one like him before he came along. But then again Page is awesome. Can't forget about Stevie Ray Vaughan either. Eric Clapton was awesome. But once again Jimi Hendrix is the man. Who inspired me to play. Jimmy Page would probably about #2 on my list.

here's mine:
hendrix
jimmy page
SRV
clapton

To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Yeah you should listen to Hendrix's and SRV's version of Little Wing too, Amazing. But Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) rocks too.

Nice resurrection of an old thread! :)

Sure, I think Jack White may be one of the finest young(er) guitarist working today.
