Ibanez does do some decent stuff, John 5 from Marilyn Manson plays 4 diff. ax-120s. Jackson makes some nice products but their instruments tend to be costly. It's nothing rediculous, but if you're a college student like me it's enough to make a difference.

Between the two options I would go with the jackson without a doubt, but it might be a better idea not limiting yourself to just those choices.
