Was wondering if I could get some opinions on this range of American Fender Guitars.

My answer depends on the price of them...what are they pinged at?

forget it, i found out hthe price. Its thier mid range guitar. I would pick this up over an american big time. Alder body, vintage pickups its a go. I dont need that boost or redifined pickups that come witht he american so this would be just fine. Looks good to me. But try before you buy!

i am of the opinion that the highway strat is impressive, despite the shortcmings in electronics, hardware & finish. the finish induces a less hefty feel somewhat & this induces more warm tones from the guitar, instead of being more treble inclined. saving up for one...

I don't know about it myself. I am in the process of aquiring a custom shop strat myself, but I do like the neck on the one I test drove for a few minutes in the store.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?
